Why 6 months is my favourite age!!!

Don't get me wrong - I absolutely LOVE every single age that steps foot in my studio, from days old to children to teenagers to parents and to grandparents. There is never a bad age to get photos done.

But I have an even softer spot for this age babies. When someone messages me saying "I'm looking to get some photos of my 6 month old" I normally do a little happy dance!!

But why? They are just so cute, it's such a lovely milestone to photograph - they are sitting, they love tummy time and don't mind being on their backs. This gives us such a variety of shots we can achieve and as a bonus they also produce the most infectious gummy smiles! Mums, Dads and Grandparents are always included too as family photos are just as important.
