17 days new - baby Kaeden
Last week I had baby Kaeden in for his newborn photoshoot.
He was such a good little monkey.
His lovely mum and grandma came along and his grandma took a couple of behind the scenes shots which was awesome!! I love seeing myself working with my clients.
With newborn photography - safety is paramount. I always take safety precautions, such as having a spotter (someone watching baby at all times incase they flinch or throw themselves), making sure baby is comfortable, warm etc. I have been trained in how to move babies into poses safely.
My newborn sessions take place when your gorgeous new gift is between 5-15days old. This is when they are at their sleepiest and we can move them into those gorgeous snuggly poses. (although if you've missed that time window don't worry - I am still happy to do older babies)
The shoot normally takes around 1 - 2 hours but maybe longer if they are determined not to sleep!!;)
The shoot will normally consist of feed, settle, pose (REPEAT!!) while Mummy's and Daddy's get time to just relax and put your feet up. Catch up on your FB feed, read the news or even have a nap!
The shoot includes use of my props, hats, headbands, wraps etc. And of course, you are welcome to bring along anything you wish to be in the shots.
Siblings and family time comes either at the end or beginning of the shoot, I always like to get the family involved!
At the end you receive a CD with all the images on edited with love for you to print however you wish. Although I do offer many different professional quality prints & products.
Safe in mummy's arms
The last thing you may feel like doing, a week or two after giving birth is having your own photo
taken. However, I really do encourage you to have at least one family shot. Why? Because they are literally only this tiny for such a short while. You will never again get to fit them into your arms so neatly, it’s the perfect record of just how amazing this time in your lives was.
Meet Baby Kaeden.
Look at those lips!!!
